Olsztyn, Poland, June 20, 2016 – Poland’s top stars Mariusz Prudel and Grzegorz Fijalek were fortunate to play in front of their home fans at the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour Olsztyn Grand Slam.
Prudel/Fijalek exited the competition in the second round, as they fell into the hands of Canada’s Chaim Schalk and Ben Saxton. However, the duo shared their thoughts in #QuickSets on the other sports they play other than beach volleyball, and their compatriot volleyball player picks to play with in beach volleyball.
Prudel chose Michal Kubiak, while Fijalek chose Zbigniew Bartman. Kubiak and Bartman represented Poland at the 2004 FIVB Beach Volleyball U19 World Championship, where they took home the silver medal.
