BRA has a 6-0 lead in the series, and all six matches have been sweeps
CAN scored at least 19 points in three of the first four sets played between the teams, but hasn’t in the last eight sets
In April 2015, Broder / Valjas won the gold medal in Fuzhou, China, becoming the first ever team from Canada to win any medal on the FIVB Tour 
Valjas, who is from Toronto, is competing in an FIVB event in Canada for the first time 
BRA has a 50-9 match record this year, including a perfect 30-0 mark in pool play and 6-6 in three-set matches
BRA enters the World Tour Finals having won its last 58 pool play matches (last loss was in May 2015 in Moscow, losing to Canada’s Bansley / Pavan)
