Try to remain calm in future matches - JU Genyin

 
České Budějovice, Czech Republic, June 23, 2017 – China claimed the victory in the Budvar Stadium in their first FIVB Volleyball Men’s U21 World Championship on Friday. 

The coaches and captains of both teams see improvements in their game in the future.

Despite losing the third set, China claimed victory against Japan 3:1 (25-21, 25-23, 22-25 and 25-16). Both teams advanced their attacks, however blocking was China’s biggest quality. 


Fumitoshi Tokunaga, coach of Japan: “We defintely have to practice our receiving skills, it was too weak this match. We have to grow stronger.”

Kenta Takanashim captain of Japan: “China’s serve was very good, they didn’t make any mistakes!” 

JU Genyin, coach of China: “Our players were very nervous for this all Asian match. So we should try and stay calm in the future matches. The players of Japan are very talented but we look back on a good match for us.”

Zhihao Liu, captain of China: “We have to stay strong and confident as a group to get good results in this tournament.”
